Both Ken and Peter took rest days today so Terry decided to walk by herself. But it was a very long day. I carted our very heavy sopping wet to the laundromat to rewash it and dry it. That was 3.57 km return. Then I walked to the bus stop with Peter (1.3 km). Peter continued shopping and I took the bus over to Marlow. In the end, a total of 21.8 km walked.
Today was the first time I have ever walked by myself for a day, in all of the pilgrimages I have ever done. It was different, not having to worry about holding others up, taking pictures but…admittedly, sometimes you see things that you would like to share with someone.
Ken’s thoughts: I have done this in the past but echo what Terry says. Better to share the experience. Bounce back tomorrow together!
